Roofing Before & After in Orange County, CA

We could talk about our process all day, but the roof is the proof. The photos below show real roofing problems we’ve run into across Orange County and what they looked like after Brennan Roofing finished. Some of these were small repairs. Others were full tear-offs down to the decking. In every case, the homeowner had a written price before we started and a one-year guarantee in writing when we left.

Blown-Off Shingles After Santa Ana Winds in Anaheim Hills

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Wind-damaged shingle repair – Anaheim Hills, CA. [Placeholder: add before/after project photo]

The problem: Santa Ana winds had ripped a patch of shingles clean off the north-facing slope, exposing the underlayment to rain. We removed the broken shingles, checked the decking for moisture (it was still sound), and laid new GAF Timberline shingles matched as close to the existing color as possible. The result: a watertight roof that doesn’t announce the repair from the street. Done in one visit.

Chimney Flashing Leak in Tustin with Water Staining the Ceiling

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Chimney flashing replacement – Tustin, CA. [Placeholder: add before/after project photo]

The problem: a homeowner saw a brown ring spreading across their bedroom ceiling after a week of rain. We got on the roof and found the chimney flashing had pulled away, leaving a gap where water ran straight down the mortar. We removed the old flashing, cut back the stucco, installed new step flashing and counter-flashing, and sealed every seam. The result: dry ceiling, no more stains, and a repair backed by the 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing.

Full Tear-Off and Replacement in Yorba Linda After Years of Patch Repairs

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Full tear-off and replacement – Yorba Linda, CA. [Placeholder: add before/after project photo]

The problem: a roof that had been patched three times over a decade, each time by someone who fixed the visible issue and left the rest to fail. The decking was soft in two spots. We tore everything down to the rafters, replaced the rotted decking, laid fresh underlayment with proper drip edge, and installed a full CertainTeed Landmark system. The result: a roof that looks new because it is new, with new flashing, new vents, and a price that was on paper before the first shingle came off.

Flat Roof Ponding Water on a Patio Cover in Fullerton

Roofers installing metal chimney flashing on a residential shingle roof
Flat roof ponding repair – Fullerton, CA. [Placeholder: add before/after project photo]

The problem: a patio cover with standing water that never drained, leaving a soft spot you could feel by walking on it. We pulled back the old membrane, replaced the waterlogged section of decking, and installed a new Owens Corning modified bitumen system with proper slope so water actually leaves the roof. The result: a dry patio cover that doesn’t sag, and a homeowner who no longer has to sweep water off after every rain.

Tile Roof Repair in Mission Viejo After a Cracked Tile Let Water Into the Garage

Roofing contractor inspecting a residential roof while standing on a ladder.
Tile roof repair – Mission Viejo, CA. [Placeholder: add before/after project photo]

The problem: a cracked tile over the garage had let water drip onto the drywall, and the drywall was starting to crumble. We lifted the broken tile, checked the underlayment underneath (still intact), and replaced it with a matching tile. Then we resealed the surrounding tiles so they don’t shift. The result: no more drip, no more crumbling drywall, done for a few hundred dollars instead of a full re-roof.

Missing Drip Edge and Rotted Fascia in Huntington Beach

Drip edge and fascia replacement – Huntington Beach, CA. [Placeholder: add before/after project photo]

The problem: the previous roof had no drip edge, which meant water wicked back into the fascia boards every time it rained. The fascia was so soft you could poke a screwdriver through it. We removed the rot, replaced the boards, and installed new drip edge before tying in the shingles properly. The result: water now drops cleanly into the gutters, and the roof edge has something solid to hold onto.
